Each session typically lasts between 6 to 8 hours but can run up to 10 hours.

Most of my clients are able to manage the pain for the full session. However, in rare cases, especially in sensitive areas like the ribs or neck, it may be more challenging. If you find yourself unable to continue, I’m open to discussing a price adjustment on a case-by-case basis. Over my 15 years of tattooing, this has only happened a handful of times.

I don't pre-numb the skin before starting your tattoo because it can change the texture of the area and affect how well your skin absorbs the ink, potentially dulling the final color after healing. However, I do apply numbing cream halfway through the process, once the skin has already been tattooed. This method doesn’t affect the final result and helps take the edge off the pain. That being said, it’s important to come mentally prepared, knowing that tattoos do hurt, and overcoming that challenge is a crucial part of the experience.
